About FitSync

FitSync is the trade name of the following Danish business, which is the operator of the FitSync app, website, and related services:

We are registered with the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen). You can verify our registration at datacvr.virk.dk using CVR 44426293.

Prices for paid plans are shown in the app, on the website, and at checkout before you pay. Displayed prices include applicable VAT unless we state otherwise at checkout.

Min Virksomhed v. Mathias Sørsdal (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed in FitSync under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act (Databeskyttelsesloven). This page is the public Privacy Policy declared in the App Store and Google Play listings. The in-app copy (Menu → Privacy Policy) matches it.

Data we collect

How we use your data

• To create and manage your account and deliver FitSync Core and paid features.
• To power MyCoach and SnapSync: relevant fitness or meal context is read at query time to generate that one reply or scan result. See the Data & AI disclosure.
• To run Pro Coach tools when you are a coach or a linked client (roster, program/meal-plan delivery, check-in review, 1:1 chat).
• To process subscriptions and the current 14-day free trial where offered, restore purchases, and enforce free-tier monthly limits (currently 3 MyCoach messages and 3 SnapSync scans per calendar month without an active trial or subscription).
• To send reminders you enable (workouts, trial end, check-ins).
• To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse (including report/block), and improve reliability via App Check.
• To measure marketing-site traffic, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Data retention

We keep account and fitness data while your account is active. If you delete your account (in-app: Menu → Account & Security → Delete Account, or follow fitsync.website/delete-account), personal data is permanently erased within 30 days, except records we must keep for bookkeeping or legal claims (up to 5 years under the Danish Bookkeeping Act / Bogføringsloven).

Processors and international transfers

We use these processors. They may only process data on our instructions and must keep it secure:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud (Google LLC) — authentication, database, storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, Messaging, App Check. Primary app region is EU (europe-west1). Some Google services may process data in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
• Google LLC (Gemini API) — MyCoach and SnapSync. Your data is not used to train Google models. See the AI disclosure.
• RevenueCat — subscription entitlements (app user ID and store receipts).
• Stripe, Inc. — web checkout only. Data may be processed in the United States under SCCs. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.
• Apple Inc. / Google LLC — in-app purchases. They are independent controllers for payment data under their own policies.
• Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — marketing website, only after cookie consent. Measurement ID G-XBJV1VGBSB.

If you link a coach (including Pro Coach) or a Gym Bud partner, the in-app surfaces for that relationship are shared with that person so the feature can work. We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising or share it with ad networks.

Your rights under GDPR

• Access (Art. 15) — a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification (Art. 16) — correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure (Art. 17) — delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restriction (Art. 18) — pause processing in certain cases.
• Portability (Art. 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent (including health data and website analytics), you may withdraw at any time. That does not affect processing already done. Stopping a health feature and/or deleting your account withdraws that consent going forward.

Email mattyofttraining@gmail.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within one month (extendable by two further months in complex cases). You may lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet at datatilsynet.dk, phone +45 33 19 32 00, or with your local EU supervisory authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest with our cloud providers. Access is restricted by authentication and Firestore security rules. Paid AI endpoints use App Check. No other user can read your private data unless you explicitly link them as coach or Gym Bud for the surfaces described above.

Children

FitSync is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Users aged 13–17 may use FitSync only if a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to our Terms of Service.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in the app or on this website. The date at the top of this section is the current version.

This policy covers cookies and similar storage on fitsync.website (the marketing site). It implements the Danish Cookie Order (Cookiebekendtgørelsen) and the ePrivacy rules. The FitSync app is not a website and does not set these marketing cookies; app analytics are described in the Privacy Policy.

These are needed for the site to work or to remember a choice you made. They do not require prior consent under Danish cookie law.

Analytics cookies (consent required)

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), measurement ID G-XBJV1VGBSB, to understand how visitors use this marketing site (pages viewed, approximate country, device type). We run Google Consent Mode v2: the Google tag may load, but analytics_storage stays denied until you tap Accept on the cookie bar. If you decline, we do not grant analytics storage.

Google may process this data in the United States under SCCs. We do not use GA4 for ads personalization, and we do not run advertising cookies.

Legal basis for this processing: consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a). You can withdraw consent at any time with the button below, or by declining on the next visit after clearing site data.

1. Operator and governing law

FitSync is operated by Min Virksomhed v. Mathias Sørsdal (CVR 44426293), Kastet 86, 7700 Thisted, Denmark. These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are subject to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer living in the EU/EEA, you also keep any mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.

2. The service

FitSync is a fitness tracking application with optional paid extras.

• FitSync Core (free) — workout logging, food diary, body measurements, progress photos, and analytics. No time limit.
• Paid subscriptions — currently MyCoach, SnapSync, Complete Stack (FitSync Pro), and Pro Coach (coaches, up to 15 clients). Current plans and prices are always shown before you subscribe. Billing is through the Apple App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), or Stripe (web).

3. Account and eligibility

You must create an account. Keep your login confidential; you are responsible for activity under it. You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and the free tier

Paid plans may begin with a 14-day free trial where offered; trial length and price are shown before you confirm. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Without an active trial or subscription, free accounts are limited to 3 MyCoach messages and 3 SnapSync scans per calendar month (limits may change with notice). Unused allowance does not carry over.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancel App Store subscriptions in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Google Play in the Play Store Subscriptions section; web subscriptions from your account in the app.

We never see or store card numbers. RevenueCat validates store purchases and entitlements. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google — for an App Store refund use reportaproblem.apple.com. Web (Stripe) refunds are described under Right of withdrawal.

5. Price changes

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ notice in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new price, subject to your cancellation right and any mandatory consumer rules.

6. Acceptable use and community

You may not reverse engineer the app, use it unlawfully, attack the service, scrape at scale, or resell access. FitSync has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post or send content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or that infringes others’ rights. Report and block in the app. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts, with or without notice.

7. Availability

We aim to keep FitSync available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update or discontinue features. Significant cuts to paid functionality will be communicated with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual property

The FitSync app, brand, and content we produce are owned by us. Your logs and photos remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service.

9. Health and AI disclaimer

FitSync, MyCoach, and SnapSync provide general fitness and nutrition information only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and MyCoach is not a licensed professional. Always consult a qualified health professional before a new exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you have a medical condition. See the Data & AI disclosure.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Danish law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time: Menu → Account & Security → Delete Account (also delete-account). Personal data is erased within 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance, subject to mandatory consumer law.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or Denmark, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw from a distance contract for a FitSync paid subscription, without giving a reason, under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven) and Directive 2011/83/EU. Last updated: 2 September 2026.

This applies to paid digital subscriptions we sell: MyCoach, SnapSync, Complete Stack / FitSync Pro, and Pro Coach. It does not apply to FitSync Core, which is free.

Who handles the refund

• Apple App Store — Apple is the merchant of record. Request a refund through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.
• Google Play — Google is the merchant of record. Request a refund through Google Play.
• Web via Stripe — Min Virksomhed v. Mathias Sørsdal is the merchant of record. Email us (below). We refund the original payment method within 14 days of a valid notice.

When the statutory right can lapse (digital content)

If you have not used any paid features, you may still withdraw within 14 days.

How to withdraw (web / Stripe, and notices to us)

Email mattyofttraining@gmail.com with the subject Withdrawal — FitSync and include:

• Your full name and the email on the FitSync account
• Purchase date and platform (App Store, Google Play, or web/Stripe)
• A clear statement that you withdraw from the purchase

On top of statutory rights, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first payment of your first subscription bought on the web via Stripe. Email mattyofttraining@gmail.com to claim it. This does not apply to App Store or Google Play purchases.

This disclosure explains how FitSync uses AI, so you know you are interacting with a machine, not a human clinician. Last updated: 2 September 2026.

What MyCoach and SnapSync are

MyCoach is an AI coaching assistant. Paid subscribers get unlimited messages; FitSync Core includes a monthly allowance (currently 3 messages) without a subscription. It helps with programming, nutrition context, and progress questions using your FitSync logs.

SnapSync estimates calories and macros from a meal photo you take. Paid plans include this feature; Core includes a monthly scan allowance (currently 3).

Both are powered by a large language / multimodal model provided by Google LLC (Gemini API). They are not a human coach, doctor, physiotherapist, or licensed dietitian.

What we send to the model

When you send a MyCoach message, the request typically includes:

• Your message and recent MyCoach conversation history
• Relevant logs — recent workouts, food entries, bodyweight, goals — so the reply can use your context

When you run SnapSync, the meal photo and a short analysis prompt are sent to generate that scan result.

Traffic is encrypted (TLS). We have configured the provider relationship to opt out of using your data to train Google models. Provider-side retention is limited to generating that response.

Limitations

• Treat outputs as a starting point, not a prescription.
• The model does not have live access to medical databases.
• Do not share sensitive medical details (diagnoses, prescriptions) beyond what you need for fitness tracking.

Automated decisions (GDPR Art. 22)

MyCoach and SnapSync do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Outputs are suggestions you are free to ignore. They do not approve or deny accounts, prices, or refunds.

EU AI Act transparency

You are interacting with an AI system. This page, in-app labelling of MyCoach / SnapSync, and the Terms of Service are how we tell you that. FitSync does not use AI for biometric identification or to assess medical fitness for work.
